Engaged in research on coal chemistry, coal chemical industry, preparation, characterization, modification, functionalization and application of porous carbon materials, purification technology of industrial organic waste gases (VOCs), and utilization of solid waste (urban solid waste, biomass, coal based solid waste, etc.). I am currently the editor in chief of Clean Coal Technology, deputy editor in chief of Journal of Mining Science and Technology, editorial board member of International Journal of Mining Science and Technology, editorial board member of Coal Chemical Industry, and member of the Coal Chemical Utilization Professional Committee of the Chinese Chemical Society. The main research projects led and completed include the 863 Program, 973 Program, National Key R&D Program, National Natural Science Foundation of China, Ministry of Education's "211" Project Construction, and Ministry of Education's Doctoral Research Special Fund; Published over 100 papers and conducted over 60 SCI/Ei searches; There are a total of 6 publications, including authorship, editing, and translation.
