Characteristics of coal quality in Xinzhen exploration area of Xunxian

In order to understand the coal quality characteristics and process performance of II1 coal,and evaluate its industrial use,17 coal-core samples were taken and the physical properties,coal-rock characteristics,chemical properties and technological properties of type II1 coal were analyzed.The results show that,the Ⅱ1 coal seam is mostly powdery,also includes minor bulks and grains. The coal appears glassy and greasy lustre,partially,it appears to be metallic lustre,and the coal shows step-like fracture. The coal types consist of anthracite,meagre coal,meagre-lean coal,and coking coal,distributed by southwest to northeast in research area.The quality of Ⅱ1 coal seam is mid-low ash,high calorific value,especially low to low in sulphur and especially low to middle in phosphorous,and the fusibility of coal ash is high softening temperature ash and high flow temperature ash.Anthracite and meagre coal ars under the category of non-caking coal,meagre-lean coal belongs to slight caking coal,and coking coal is mid-strong caking coal.
