Experimental study on fluidization characteristics of biomass and coal co-firing

  • Selected meagre coal and typical biomass,such as tree branch and sawdust as research objects,with the aid of CFB boiler cold test system,researched their fluidization characteristics.The results show that,the fluidization properties of single biomass are poor,while add some meagre coal,the properties get better,and the more the better.When the mass ratio of biomass and meagre coal is 6 ∶4,the fluidized effect is the best.The minimium fluidization velocity of mixture decrease with the increase of biomass mass fraction,it’s very similar to the predictive value.The material layer height has little effect on the fluidization characteristics of mixture.
