Abstract:
In order for the high-value and Low-carbon conversion and utilization of low metamorphic bituminous coal in Northern Shanxi province, the co-pyrolysis of Jinbei coal and cornstalks were investigated to discover the product yield and properties. The results showed that there are interactions between the bituminous coal and biomass co-pyrolysis components. With the raising biomass blending ratio, the semi-coke yield decreased, and the pyrolysis gas and high-value tar yield increased. The ineffective gas CO
2 can be effectively controlled by adjusting the proportion of biomass blending. When the biomass is blended at 60%, the co-pyrolysis product yield and the high-value components (alkyl phenols) product in the tar are relatively optimal. Based on the 10 million tons of coal pyrolysis and upgrading project, blending biomass at a rate of
461900 t/a can reduce CO
2 emissions by about
400000 t/a and increase the total profit of the project by 120 million yuan per year.
