Abstract: In order to simplify the analysis of total sulfur in coal,the total sulfur in coal was converted into sulfate radical which was analyzed by IC( Ion Chromatography) via the reference of GB / T 214—2007. The proposed method was compared with the national standard method( Eschka method and coulometric titration method) by F test and t test. The experimental results showed that,there was no significant difference in precision and accuracy between Eschka- ion chromatography method and national standard method.
